Jammu, Sept 30: Civil Defence Jammu organized a day long awareness programme-cum-demonstration at village Narsingh Pura, block Pargwal, nearhere.
The programme was organized under the able guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, ADGP HG/CD& SDRF J&K and Vikas Gupta, SSP Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu and close supervision of DySP, Anita Pawar, Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness camp the villagers were given the knowledge of First Aid (CPR, Chocking, Snake bite) and Fire- Fighting by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion, Anita Pawar highlighted the Role of Civil Defence. She also asked the villagers to join Civil Defence organization on a volunteer basis to serve the nation.
Rattan Lal, ex- Sarpanch and Rashpal Chand Lamberdar of the area appreciated the role of the Civil Defence and requested to hold such awareness Programme, Training programmes in future also. |
