Early Times Report MENDHAR, Sept 30: Overloading on peripheral roads of Mendhar goes unheeded as police take no actionto save precious lives. Students can be seen hanging from passenger vehicle doors during school hours, the locals said. In addition to overloading almost all the vehicles including bikes violate traffic rules but nobody seems bothered to set things right, they added. "There is huge rush of school and college students and office goers in the mornings , but since there are not enough vehicles to carry them, everybody tries to get onboard. The transport authorities have failed to rationalize the permits to Tatsumos. At certain routes, there are so many buses, while on others, there are too few despite heavy load, " said Waqar Ahmad a local. The inaction of the traffic authorities is being questioned by the locals. |
