Kalash Yatra of Bhagwat Saptah taken out

Jammu, Sept 30: A Grand "Kalash Yatra" has been organized this afternoon on the eve of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. The yatra commenced from Hari Mandir, Rehari, Jammu and passed through various streets of adjoining areas and culminated back at Hari Mandir, Rehari, Jammu.
Shrimad Bhagwat Kathakar Phool Kumar Shastri, Bhupinder Shastri and Pardeep Kumar Shastri also participated and remained with devotees in the Yatra. Pardeep Kumar Shastri lauded the efforts of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, J&K, Jammu for organizing such religious events in Jammu, the city of temples.
Speaking on the occasion Sunil Sharma Organizer of the Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, J&K, Jammu informed that the Bhagwat Katha which is starting today will continue till 7 October at Hari Mandir, Rehari, Jammu.
Hawan will be performed on daily basis from October 1 to 7, 2018 from 7:00 am and Bhagwat Katha from 02:00 to 06:00 pm. On the last day of Katha i.e. October 7, a Grand Sant Sammelan shall start at 11:00 am followed by Bhandara. Sharma said that Pitra Paksha is a period in Hindu Calender when Hindus pay homage to their ancestors, especially through Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Path and offering food. Among others who attended Kalash yatra namely Raman Sharma, Rajesh Verma, Raja Singh, Parshotam Sharma, Rohit Saini, Bishan Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Madan Mohan Gupta and others.
