GDC Ramnagar organizes programme on surgical strike

RAMNAGAR, Sept 30: NCC and NSS units of GDC Ramnagar concluded 2 days programme on observance of 2nd anniversary of surgical strike on September 29. The programme began on September 28 wherein both the units (NSS & NCC) took pledge in support of the Indian army. Number of cadets and volunteers took part in various activities like poster/card making and letter writing. On second day, NCC cadets recited National Anthem and organized a formal parade in recognition of the valour of Indian army. The NSS volunteers also organized an awareness rally in the vicinity of the College where volunteers raised the slogans in support of Indian army. At last, a special meeting of the cadets and volunteers with Retd. Subedar/ Honorary Captain Dewan Chand was also organized where Capt. Dewan Chand shared the experiences of his life as a soldier of Indian army and motivated the cadets and volunteers to join and support Indian armed forces. Cadet Rakesh Kumar, Cadet Shubam Sharma and NSS volunteer Arshdeep Singh also gave their feedback about their interaction with him. Prof (Dr) YP Kundal, Principal, was the chief guest on this occasion. He encouraged the students to extend full support and learn from the disciplined life of our soldiers.
