| RRC organizes awareness rally on "Gandhian Ideas in Today's World" | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Sept 30: A rally was organized today by the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of the Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society, Department of Health and Medical Education (J&K) to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and to aware the masses regarding "Gandhian Ideas in Today's World".
About 100 volunteers of the RRC and students of the college participated in the rally along with banners and slogan charts which reflect the messages given by Mahatma Gandhi. Students were also displaying placards having Gandhian quotes and ideas.
The rally was flagged off by Prof. Kartar Chand Principal GDC Kathua and the Chairman of the RRC. The rally started from GDC Kathua and reached Shaheedi Chowk after passing through various bazaars. While addressing the rally, Dr Arun Dev Singh, Programme Officer of the RRC said that the time has come when students have to play pivotal role to aware the masses regarding the values of Gandhian Ideas. |
