Jammu, Oct 6: Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj a social organization today organized a plantation drive during which they planted saplings of different kinds of shady plants.
The drive was organized under the the guidance of Col (Retd) R K Sharma, Chairman and S Daljeet Singh, President ABS in the premises of Shamshan Ghat-Bhour Camp.
On the occasion Dr Charanjeet Sharma, retd agriculture officer, donated plants and narrated the benefits of plants in our daily life and stressed upon the general masses and students community in particular to plant more and more trees to keep our Planet Clean and Green, for pollution free environment, to save the Earth and generation as well. Plants give us oxygen, shadow and many more benefits, he added. |
