4 polling stations in Rajouri declared hypersensitive, 33 sensitive | | | Early Times Jammu RAJOURI, Oct 6: District election authorities here at Rajouri have declared 4 polling stations as hypersensitive and 33 as sensitive and have also claimed to made elaborate security arrangements at these polling stations. Rajouri district administration has established 65 polling stations at 45 locations for the fair & free elections for the five Municipal Committees (MCs) in the district. Out of 65 polling stations the voting will be held at 61 polling stations as the candidates for 4 wards have already been declared elected unopposed. These wards including ward No. 6 at Nowshera and Ward Nos. 2, 3 and 8 in Thanamandi Municipal Committee. District Electoral Officer MA Asad, who is also DDC, informed that adequate security arrangements for all the polling stations are already in place besides elaborate and separate security plans for hypersensitive and sensitive polling stations have been made. "Micro observers have been deployed in all the hypersensitive and sensitive polling stations while separate transport plan is in place and all the polling staff will dispatch from the ITI Rajouri on October 7" said DEO. For any technical problems in EVMs the nodal officers for EVMs will remain in the move besides presence of BEL engineers at district HQ. |
