JAMMU, Oct 6: Independent candidate from Ward No. 65 Anita Sharma today campaigned extensively for the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) election in various areas of the ward.
In a show of strength on the last day of high pitched campaigning, Anita Sharma along with her large number of supporters including women and youth took out an election rally wherein the voters of the ward were appealed to cast their vote in favour of the independent candidate, whose election symbol is Gas Cylinder.
Raising slogans in favour of Anita Sharma, her enthusiastic supporters said that she is an ideal candidate from Ward No. 65 adding that their leader's victory is a foregone conclusion.
Addressing a series of gatherings, Anita Sharma while seeking support from the residents of Ward No. 65 said that if elected as Corporator she would leave no stone unturned in developing the ward on modern lines.
She said that her priority will remain to ensure that basic necessities in the ward are provided to the residents without any problem or delay. |
