| MHAC Nagbani celebrate Gandhi Jayanti | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 6: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at MHAC School Nagbani with great zeal and enthusiasm. A devotional ambience prevailed in the School. The school organized many activities on this day. Children dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi walked the school premises in a 'Dandi March' conveying the message of Truth and non - Violence.
Special assembly was conducted to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The children highlighted the life and achievements of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The School launched 'Cleanliness Drive' where in the students enthusiastically cleaned the entire periphery and surroundings of the institution and learnt to shoulder the responsibility.
A pledge was taken by students and teachers to keep their surroundings clean and pollution-free and not discard any trash anywhere. The students paid homage to the 'father of the nation' by singing a beautiful rendition of a devotional song. |
