Jammu, Oct 13: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized guest lectures on "stress management" and "role of Engineering Design in addressing present day problems" for all the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering students respectively here today. The Programme was started with the lecture delivered by Dr. Nikhil Gupta M.B.B.S., MD presently working as Registrar in Batra Hospital, Jammu who apprised the students on stress management and focused on the mental health of the students which was followed by the lecture of Dr. Ankush Anand Assistant Professor Deptt. of Mechanical Engineering SMVDU, Katra. The lecture was broadly focused how to apply scientific knowledge to the solution of technical problems. While engineers provide a technical solution, it is very important to understand that engineering design implies a solution that is aesthetic as well.
