| Sat tours Shakti Nagar with PWD officials | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 14: Following his daily routine of interacting with masses of Jammu West Assembly segment, Former Minister and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) visited Ward 29 where a large number of locals met the MLA and apprised him of some problems being faced by them from quite some time. Sharma was also accompanied by social and political activists. Officials from PWD (R&B) were also present during MLA's tour in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that an extensive tour was conducted in all the areas of the ward along with officials of PWD and locals of the Ward and it was brought to the notice by locals that main road of Shakti Nagar from AG office to Pawan Ice Cream needs immediate Black topping for which he directed the authorities of PWD to immediately take up the works as soon as possible in order to avoid public distress.
Locals also apprised him of the situation regarding repair of two lanes in the area for which the MLA directed the concerned authorities to check the problem and taking a strict note of the sanitation in the area, he directed the Health officer of JMC to address the issue on priority. |
