Jammu, Oct 14: Debate on 'Pathways to Sustainable Growth and Development' was organized by Govt. College for Women Parade Ground, Jammu sponsored by J & K State Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology under the scheme "Promoting of S & T at District Level" held. Dr. Hemla Aggarwal, Principal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. She encouraged students and said that sustainable development is need of the present generation. Sunita Razdan, Asstt. Director, JKST&IC was the Program Coordinator from DST. She told students that they have the potential to do better and hard work never goes unrewarded. Welcome address was given by Dr. Gurpreet Kour. Dr. Avinash Gupta, Dr. Anuradha Gupta and Dr. Pragya Khanna acted as judges. Total 15 speakers took part in the debate. Meher Fatima stood first, Sajjal Gupta stood second and Diksha Baloria stood third. Himani Kotwal, Preeti Parihar and . Priyanka Khullar begged three consolation prizes. Dr. Puja Nanda gave vote of thanks. Prof. Sumita Dham, Prof. Pardeep Chib, Prof. Yash Paul, Prof. Sapna, Prof. Satinder, Prof. Bhavana, Prof. Slony Gupta, Prof. Himanshu, Prof. Yogesh, Prof. Gourav, Prof. Deepmala and Prof. Ruby were also present. |
