Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 22: Prem Nath Bhatt Memorial Trust (PNBMT) organised a meeting of its core group today to review the progress relating to the all important Temples Bill and two organizational functions falling in the coming months. The meeting was attended by the acting Chairman of the trust Shiban Khaibri, Shadi Lal Koul, Sundri Lal Koul, Kashmiri Lal Bhatt, M.K.Raina, M.K.Jalali, H.L.Bhatt, Man Mohan Thaploo, C.L.Pandita, Bushan Lal and Virender Raina. The members expressed serious concern that the historical temples of Kashmir need to be protected at all costs and the passage of the Temples and Shrines Bill in Kashmir is the need of the hour. The members said that in order to protect the temples of Kashmir we need a constitutional mechanism and an institutional framework and as such the role of the government is critical. |
