Srinagar, Oct 22: Security forces on Monday evening launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
Official sources told that following specific information about presence of militants, a joint CASO was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, Army and CRPF at Silu, Sopore in Baramulla on Monday evening.
They said that the area has been cordoned off and door-to-door search is being conducted. "No contact has been established with militants so far," they added. |
