Rajouri, Oct 26: In a significant development, Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Rahul Yadav has placed under suspension a Lamberdar of village Sandote for his anti Measles-Rubella (MR) campaign.
According to suspension order dated 25/10/2018 , Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Poonch vide his office letter No.CMO/P/2074-77 dt 25/10/2018 had reported that Mohd Araf Pathan, Lamberdar, village Sandote in Mendhar tehsil has circulated a video on the social media network (public domain) regarding anti MR campaign and trying to communalise the society by spreading the panic among the general public by such baseless video without verification and proof.
Being a responsible person and holding a responsible post of Lamberdar and on government pay roll, Mohd Araf pathan in view of the allegations and pending inquiry, has been placed under suspension.
Deputy Commissioner has directed tehsildar , Balakot to conduct inquiry and send to send factual report into the allegations/ matter within 7 days. |
