Jammu, Oct 26: The five day national training programme on "Quality Seed Production technology of Cereal crops" concluded at SKUAST-Jammu. The training programme was jointly organized by National Seed Research & Training Centre (NSR&TC), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, GOI, Varanasi (UP) and ICAR-Mega Seed Project, SKUAST-Jammu at University Campus, Chatha. Thirty delegates attended the training programme from different parts of country like Andhra Pardesh, Chhattisgarh and State Agriculture Dept./Ag. University. Reputed speakers delivered lectures on the various themes. Few of the prominent speakers were Dr. J. P. Sharma, Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Dr. Ashok Gaur, IARI, New Delhi, Dr. Ramesh Phagna, IIMR, New Delhi, Dr. Rakesh Seth, IARI, New Delhi, Dr. S.K.Yadav and Dr. Sandeep Lal from IARI, New Delhi. Dr. Pardeep Wali Course Co-ordinator gave the vote of thanks. The Course-Co-Cordinators were Dr. Magdeshwar Sharma, Dr. Vishal Raina and Dr. Anjani Kumar Singh of Mega Seed Project, SKUAST-Jammu. The proceedings of the valedictory function were conducted by Dr. Vivak M. Arya. |
