Shiv Sena to contest civic polls in valley | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 26: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray, J&K unit, has decided to file nomination in the remaining seats of civic polls in the State. Briefing media persons, Dimpy Kohli, State President J&K Shiv Sena unit, Rakesh Kak,Raj Singh, Vipin Hindu, Ashwani Gupta, said that the Shiv Sena will field their candidates in the remaining seats of civic polls which were not filled due to double filing of nominations in the recently held Urban Local Bodies Elections. He mentioned that Shiv Sena won two seats in the Kashmir Valley and are expected to get more seats in the remaining seats of Urban Local Bodies elections. Abdul Khalid Bhat and Abdul Qyoom has won Urban Local Bodies elections and assured that they will serve the people and will not leave any stone unturned to serve the society in a better way. Kohli said that he along with Party's General Secretary will visit Kashmir Valley and strengthen the party in the Kashmir province. He said since the public has been betrayed by BJP, they want a change and will definitely support Shiv Sena. He said that it is for the first time that Shiv Sena contested the Corporation elections in Kashmir. Kohli said that Shiv Sena had and will always be ready to serve the people of Jammu as it had been serving in the past. He said that it was only Shiv Sena which came forward to serve the people in any eventuality. Shiv Sena appealed to the public to vote and support the Shiv Sena candidates. |
