DDC deducts salary of 30 health employees | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 14: In an action taken report, DDC Rajouri has ordered deduction of one day salary of 30 health employees found unauthorizedly absent from their duties during surprise inspections of health centres in the district on November 9. DDC on Monday has also directed Dr Suresh Gupta, CMO to deposit the deducted amount in the account of district Red Cross society and also seek explanations from them. Immediately after the inspections were completed, DDC had withheld the salaries of the Block Medical officers (BMOS) of Sunderbani, Kalakot, Manjakot and Nowshera, where 24 health centres were found locked, for poor supervision and monitoring in the field. The surprise inspections of 120 health centres in Rajouri district was conducted on November 9. Out of inspected centres, 24 were found locked during working hours while 30 employees were found on an unauthorized absent from duties. In the action taken report M.A.Asad, DDC has also withheld the salaries of the entire staff of the 24 health centres found closed during inspections and also order to continue to withheld the salaries of 4 BMOs as was earlier ordered for poor monitoring. DDC in his action taken report has also directed CMO to issue strict warning to the health department employees to remain careful of their duties and punctuality in the future. He also asked CMO to furnish related denials about the employees of the health centres found closed during inspections for further action against them.
