| BJP wins Municipal Committee Gho Manasa unopposed | | | Early Times Jammu
Jammu, Nov 14: BJP won the Municipal Committee of Gho Manasa unopposed with its Councilors Rajinder Singh Chib and Krishan Lal elected as Chairman and Vice-Chairman. BJP's State Secretary & Prabhari Jammu Rural Aseem Gupta and State Prabhari Kissan Morcha Karan Singh along with hundreds of BJP activists who accompanied the BJP Councilors on the occasion.
The duo won unopposed today in the Municipal committee, Gho Manasa, thanks to the sufficient strength of BJP's Councillors in the Committee. Rajinder Singh Chib is also heading the BJP's State Kissan Morcha as its State President.
SDM Marh Tariq Hussain and Manoj Bali were present on the occasion.
Balvinder Kour, Manohar Lal Bhagat and Jatinder Singh, were the other BJP Councilors were also present on the occasion.
Aseem Gupta, while congratulating the newly elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman, asked them to devote them fully for the cause of society. He advised them to make provisions for the ease of official machinery and making it approachable to the common masses at the earliest. He said that there should be visible difference in the governance at the lowest level after the BJP has secured the Committee while following the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas". He asked the councilors to ensure implementation of PM Modi's Public Welfare Schemes.
Karan Singh, while lauding the performance of BJP Councillors, said that the post has created new responsibilities for them. He said that BJP has custom to serve society with whatever means it has and now the Committee will present example of clean governance to public. |
