| DB directs state to file compliance report | | PIL regarding preservation of Gharana wetland | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 14: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation regarding preservation of Gharana wetland, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Alok Aradhe directed State to file compliance report in regard to all previous directions issued by this Court before the next date of hearing. When the PIL came-up for hearing, Sr. AAG HA Siddqui informed Division Bench that the Revenue Department is in the progress of acquiring land for development of the Gharana Wetland Project. DB observed that time has been sought to file status report on behalf of the Wild Life Department and directed respondents to file compliance report in regard to all previous directions issued by this Court before the next date of hearing. |
