DPS Nagbani stages Nukkad Natak on 'save water' | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 16: The students of Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu - (West) today staged a Nukkad Natak on the topic 'Save Water'. The students generated awareness among the Jhiri-(Kanachak) locality residents about the problem of water wastage with the help of placards with the slogan 'Water is precious', 'Save water', 'Save life' focusing on 'Water conservation and its preservation'. The students performed Nukkad on the topic of water conservation and the threat posed by its shortage. The enlightening Nukkad Natak caught the attention of people present at the Jhiri-(Kanachak) who had gathered around to witness the Natak. The students enacted before the people various scenarios wherein people waste water. They brought into light various points, to which the society attaches less importance but it later, becomes the source of many problems. The Principal of the school R. K. Verma appreciated the hard work of teachers and students. He said that water is life and no one can live without water. He said that the only way forward for the betterment of environment is if all the people participate in this fight. |
