JAMMU, Nov 16: A meeting of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Government College for Women (GCW), Parade, Jammu with the external members was held here today.
The aim of the meeting was to apprise the external members about preparations done by the college for forthcoming NAAC inspection. Principal of the College, Dr Hemla Aggarwal formally welcomed all and Dr Neeraj Kumar, Coordinator, IQAC made a detailed Powerpoint presentation. He began by enumerating the agenda items that included the work and achievements already accomplished by the institution and further planning and measures that the College is reaching towards.
The meeting was attended by the Director Colleges, Department of Higher Education, Prof Z A Chat, Padmashri S P Verma, Anil Suri (Industrialist), Prof Shashi Kaul (former faculty member of the College), besides Internal Members of IQAC of the college and a few faculty members.
During the discussions, a number of suggestions were made by the external members which were duly noted down. |
