JAMMU, Nov 16: Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu organized first day blood donation camp in collaboration with Health Centre, University of Jammu and Blood Bank, Govt. Medical College Hospital.
The camp was organised in the Parking area of Dept of Computer Science and IT.
Prof. Lalit Sen Sharma, HoD Department of Computer Science and IT formally inaugurated the camp.
A team of doctors from GMC Hospital and the pharmacists from Health Centre were present during the camp. Ambulance was also provided by the Health Centre. Girls in huge numbers turned out for this camp. However, few of them were declared ineligible for donation because of low hb level.
Vikas Pandita explained about the importance of blood donation.
Other volunteers who donated blood and helped in the smooth conduct of this camp include Vivek, Nishant, Vikas, Rajat, Bhanu, Sajjal, Harpreet, Deepnaval, Sanjana , Rupali, Manvi, Meghnar, Gurpreet, Ria, Neha, Sakshi, Shikha, Parul, Mansi, Aman, Sunny, Sneha, Rippan, Aryan, etc. |
