Poonch, Nov 16: The authorities in Poonch have been accused of misappropriating flood and irrigation funds. The government has also been accused of inaction. "The authorities have never bothered to investigate misuse of such funds," locals alleged. Massive funds were provided, sources said, for the canals as well as Sher-e-Kashmir bridge but nothing has changed on the ground The locals said: "It appears some big names are involved. This perhaps is the reason behind inaction of the government," they said. |
