Vijaypur, Nov 16: Students of MV International School, Vijaypur brought laurels in Inter School Taekwondo Championship, organized by J and K Sports Taekwondo Association, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The school team exhibited its dominance by winning 5 Gold, 3 Silver & 5 Bronze Medals in the event. Himanshu(9B), Gurpreet Singh(7A), Haseem Mohd(6B), Roshan(5B) and Akshara Sharma(4D) won Gold Medals; Sahil Sharma(9B), Sushant Multonia(7A) and Akshit Sharma(4D) won Silver Medals; Prabhjot Singh(6B,) Vaibhav Rauthan(6B), Sparsh Choudhary(4D), Akshat Slathia(4B) and Prince Kapoor(4B) won Bronze Medals. Gold Medal winners are selected for the National Championship to be held in New Delhi. 225 students from various schools of Jammu Province participated in the championship. Harsh Dev Singh, former Education Minister was the Chief Guest and KCS Mehta Principal Army Public School Akhnoor, J.S Dhami Principal Heritage Public School, Kundan Lal Dogra, Principal MV International School. |
