Poonch, Nov 28: People of Poonch town is without ration and kerosene for the past one month.
Reports said the people have questioned the functioning of the concerned department. Where has the ration and kerosene meant for the the town gone, they questioned.
They also complained that the depot holders were not displaying the rate list and black marketing was greatly in vogue.
The people through President Poonch youth Front Nishu Gupta have urged the Director Food and Supplies department and district authorities to initiate an inquiry into the matter and book the accused who violate the laws and sell ration and kerosene oil in black while consumers are being left high and dry, he added. |
