Guv's statement over Govt. formation has stripped BJP naked: Harsh | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 28: Governor SP Malik's statement made in Gwalior recently that New Delhi wanted him to install Sajjad Lone as Chief Minister of J&K has spilled the beans and revealed the BJP in its true colours, said Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP and Former Minister. The Governor in his speech in a function organized by a Gwalior based University categorically said that he did not install Sajjad Lone's Govt. as he did not want to be remembered as a dishonest person, divulged Harsh, adding that his sensational disclosure had created ripples in the political landscape of the state. The BJP stood fully exposed for its duplicity and 'dishonest' intentions by the honest confession made by the Governor, said Singh. He said that no further proof of BJP's demagoguery and unprincipled politics was required adding that the Governor's clarification should serve as an eye opener for the people of Jammu especially its supporters and allied organizations. Amused over the BJP's unexplained fondness for Sajjad Lone deliriously oblivious of his separatist antecedents, Mr. Singh questioned the Saffron party over its policies of 'die hard nationalism' and 'zero tolerance' loudly proclaimed by it in the past. He said that by promoting Sajjad Lone, the BJP had not only comprised with its age old philosophy but betrayed the collective sentiment of Dogras who gave it 25 seats on the strength of its slogans of giving a Jammu base Chief Minister. By sponsoring Sajjad Lone as the Chief Ministerial Candidate, the BJP had admitted its political bankruptcy and its unmitigated lust for power thereby losing its left over steam and sheen in its political bastion. Earlier it became 'B' team of PDP despite having almost equal number of MLAs and now it had surrendered before the two MLA People's Conference Party of Sajjad Lone, regretted Harsh. Describing BJP leaders as 'Jai Chands' of Jammu, he said that Governor's expose would serve as the last nail in the coffin of the Saffron party with people giving it a befitting reply in the days to come. |
