| RM Public School celebrates sports cum prize distribution function | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 5: The school playground of RM Public School was filled with great zeal, enthusiasm and frolicsome atmosphere on 5th Dec, 2018 as the students and staff members celebrated its 4th Sports Cum Prize Distribution Function. Almost all the students from all the wings participated in the event.
The programme began with guard of honour by the students to the Chief Guest Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman- Director of youth and sports services, Presiding guest IPS Basant Kumar Rath-IG of Home Guard, S.K. Jain - Yoga Commissioner (J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides) Guest of honour Kanwaljeet Singh- 1st Ranji Trophy winner and Ram Singh Slathia-Everester - Guest of Honour who graced the function with their presence. Media personnel also attended the function as honourable guests. All the guests and parents were welcomed by the Trustee Rita Mengi and Chairman Rameshwar Mengi along with Principal Ravinder Kour. The programme started with the lightning of flambeau by the sports person. The students of different houses presented the march past with great enthusiasm and took the oath. After that the students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant events such as Yoga, Races, Skates and dances of various varities. They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
