Jammu, Dec 5: Students of the Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu brought laurel to the school in State as well as District level Taekwon-Do Championships "Under Khelo India Scheme" at the State level as well as the District level, held at Brahmin Sabha, Parade, Jammu and M.A Stadium, Jammu respectively. At State level Taekwon-Do Championship, Prabhnoor Kour won Silver medal whereas five other students namely Arshpreet Kour, Pratishtha, Mehak Sharma, Rupleen Kour and Shalvi Saini bagged Bronze medal. On the other side, at District level Taekwon-Do Championship, three Sanskritians viz., Mehak Sharma, Ridhi Saini and Arshpreet Kour bagged Silver medals whereas Bronze medals were bagged by Rupleen Kour and Taruna Sabharwal. Getting these medals was not an easy task for them, but Sanskritians believe that more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in achieving success. Their success was also the result of the hard work of their mentor Jagpreet Kour. Principal cum Vice-Chairperson Rohini Aima congratulated and applauded the students and their mentor Jagpreet Kour for their wonderful and appreciable performance and asserted that a person should always be optimistic and passionate about achieving his/her goals. No doubt obstacles will come to stop you, but these obstacles in life don't come to destroy you, they simply come to make you realize your hidden potential. All you need to do is work hard with passion, because if you hold your passion firmly, the success is yours. |
