Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 5: The President, will be leading the nation in paying homage to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 63rd Mahapari-nirvan Diwas tomorrow on December 6, 2018. In the morning, the President will offer floral tribute at the statue of Baba Saheb at Sansad Bhavan Lawns in the Parliament House complex. The Vice President, the Prime Minister and other dignitaries will also offer tribute to the Father of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar. Among other leaders who will pay floral homage to Baba Saheb included the Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Thaawarchand Gehlot, Ministers of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, Krishan Pal Gurjar, Vijay Sampla and other dignitaries. The function will be organised by the Ambedkar Foundation, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The floral homage at the statue of Baba Saheb at Sansad Bhavan Lawns in the Parliament House complex will be paid between 9:30 to 1100 AM. All the devotees shall not be allowed to bring any prohibited articles such as bags, briefcase, packets, cell phones, pens, camera, flags, Lathis, placards, marshals, banners, firearms, swords, hailers and other objectionable items. The provision for keeping personal belongings can be deposited in the foundation's stalls erected opposite to PTI Building. The visitors can enter from the gate opposite to PTI Building, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. |
