Early Times Report Srinagar, Dec 5: One army jawan was on Wednesday injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Uri sector of Baramulla. He has been admitted to a hospital. In an earlier incident on November 23, the Indian and Pakistan armies held a brigade commander level meeting at a border crossing in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector to adhere to ceasefire, a defence official said. The flag meeting came in the wake of several ceasefire violations by the Pakistan army in the past over one month, during which five Indian security personnel were killed and seven others injured. The Indian delegation was led by Brigadier V S Sekhon and Brigadier Qaiser led the Pakistani side. |
