| Minor girl, her father die; one injured in road mishap | | |

Rajouri, Dec 5: In a tragic road mishap that occurred in the late evening hours in Rajouri district, a man and his 5 years old daughter died on the spot while the driver sustained critical injuries.
According to sources, a Tempo traveller bearing registration number JK02-0587 left Kotranka town for Badhal village and at about 7 pm when reached near Badhal village, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it skidded off the road and fell in deep gorge. Reports said many people had narrow escape as they were dropped at their locations ahead of Badhal village.
Only three people were in the vehicle including driver Mohd Altaf of Badhal who sustained critical injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Razak son of Haji Dullah and his 5 years old daughter.
After getting the information, locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and also informed the police.
The accident site located in remote area and due to night hours people faced many difficulties in retrieving the bodies and in the rescue of the driver. |
