| Two convicted, prosecution successfully pleads case | | |

Ukhral, Dec 7: The prosecution branch Ukhral headed by PO Voonish Sangotra under the supervision of Sr. PO Ramban Jaswant Raj successfully proved the guilt of two accused persons under section 332 and 353 of RPC in case under FIR No 75/2012.
"Being convinced by the theory of Prosecution, CJM Ukhral convicted Mushtaq Ahmad and Mohd Ashraf of Village Kunda, Teh. Banihal, to undergo simple imprisonment for one year each for both the offences, which shall run concurrently. The case was registered on a written report of AE PMSGY naming the above mentioned persons who attacked him and his team while discharging their official duties. Accordingly, the above mentioned case was immediately registered and investigation taken up. The Investigating Officer (IO) proved the offences against the accused and submitted the chathesheet in the Court of CJM Ukhral.
After pleading the case for so long, the prosecution branch today succeeded in getting the accused convicted under the offences they committed. The judgment shall be a setback to the habitual offenders and those who do not have any respect for law. |
