| Guv administration directs CEO, RDA for open tendering of TRC construction | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 7: To avoid any middle man in the construction of proposed Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) and other works under Rajouri Development Authority, Governor administration has directed the concerned authorities to go for open tendering under rules.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rajouri Development Authority (RDA) vide his office letter dated December 1, has sought permission from the higher authorities for taking up the matter (construction of TRC with TATA Steel). A project for the development of tourist circuit was proposed under the component 'Shaker Marg on Pir Panjal Top' in Darhal Assembly constituency in Rajouri district. Under integrated development of proposed tourist circuit the tourist reception centre was to be constructed at Darhal selected as 'base camp' and another work at Shaker Marg termed as 'gateway to Pir Panjal'. The permission to contact TATA steel was sought from the higher authorities of department of tourism. Assistant Director Planning, Tourism Department vide his office letter dated 612/2018 on the directions from higher authorities has advised CEO, RDA to go for open tendering process under rules. |
