Jammu, Dec 18: The 27th meeting of Finance Committee of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University under the Chairmanship of Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University was held to deliberate over the Audited Accounts of SMVDU for the Financial Year 2017-18 and to discuss the Revised Budget Estimates for F.Y.2018-19 along with Budget proposals for F.Y. 2019-20. At the outset a brief note on achievements of the University has been presented by Dr. Sumeet Gupta Associate Dean (Academics), thereafter, Romesh Singh, KAS, Director Finance, SMVDU & Member Secretary Finance Committee, SMVDU commenced the proceedings of the meeting, agenda wise, whereby Audited Accounts of SMVDU for the F.Y. 2017-18, Revised Budget Estimates for F.Y. 2018-19 and Budget proposals for F.Y. 2019-20 has been deliberated and recommended for approval by the University Executive Council. The members present in the meeting were Umang Narula, IAS, Principal Secretary to Governor, J&K State, R. K. Goyal, IAS, Principal Secretary to Govt. Home Deptt. Govt. of J&K, Simrandeep Singh, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, Prof. V K Bhat, Registrar, SMVDU, Romesh Singh, KAS, Director Finance, SMVDU and Hemkant Prasher, KAS, Chief Accounts Officer, SMVDSB. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks to the Chair. |
