Employees of mission ICDS without salaries since last several months | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Dec 18: The employees of mission ICDS, who are without salaries since last several months, have threatened to go on strike in case the government failed to address their problems in two weeks. As per the details available with Early Times, an emergency meeting of employees of Mission ICDS of Jammu Province was today held under the Chairmanship of Umar Jan, Provincial President of Non-Gazetted Employees Association Social Welfare & ICDS, to decide the future course of action with regards to the non redressal of their demands. Speaking to Early Times, Umar Jan said that the employees working in ICDS sector are still without salary since last so many months despite of many representations submitted to higher authorities by them and submission made through print media and electronic Media. He said that the salary of employees is pending since last 7 months in majority of the Districts and in some districts it is pending for 3 months. "There are maximum female employees working in the department who are facing many difficulties without salary. The employee of ICDS were hoping that after creation of separate Directorate of Mission ICDS in the year 2014 they will get their salaries on time and justice on other issue also but something oppose to that happen" he said adding that the Mission ICDS have became hub of favouritism and nepotism in all respect. He said that the employees in one voice have appealed to the Governor Administration to intervene into the matter and requested him to direct the concerned authorities to redress the grievances of the employees in a time bound manner. |
