| Poonch XI, BHSS Jr win Hockey ties | | |  Early Times Report
poonch, Dec 18: Poonch XI in men category and BHSS Poonch (Junior) in junior group emerged winners in the ongoing District Poonch Hockey Championship, organised by the Poonch Hockey at Sports Stadium, here today.
In the first match of junior category, BHSS (Junior) defeated City Club 3-0. Shoib netted the first goal in the fifth minute while Agrim scored in the 18th and 45th minute respectively.
In other scheduled match of men's group, Poonch XI outplayed BHSS (Senior) via tie-breaker. Earlier, in the stipulated time the match ended in a 6-6 draw. Earlier, Pawan and Matinder scored two goals each while Jaswinde and Rohit added one each from Poonch XI while Shaid netted three goals, Rudhar, Noib and Shoib one each from BHSS (senior).
Executive Engineer PHE, Rajinder Kumar and Nirdosh Kumar (Manager Sports Stadium) were the special guest in today's matches. Among other prominent present were Vijay Kumar (PEM), Pawan Kumar (hockey coach), Matinderpal Singh (hockey coach), Sourab Sharma and Rajinder Singh.
Matches officiated by the technical panel including Ranveet singh, Vikas Raina, Shobit Tandon, Shokat, Akshay and Gunpreet
