| Awareness programme on Swachhta Action plan organized | | |  Early Times Report
rajouri, Jan 10: A three day awareness programme on Swachhta Action Plan was organized by Regional Outreach Bureau of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at Government Industrial Institute Rajouri.
The aim of the programme was to acquaint masses about various aspects and provisions of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) for general public and youth of the Institute in particular. A series of IEC activities were included in the programme viz. Shramdaan (Cleanliness Drive), Presentation of Skits and Mimes, Expert lectures by Resource persons, Open Quiz Contest, Seminar etc. in the presence of Sajjad Ahmad Naqueeb Principal Govt. ITI Rajouri, Manzoor Hussain Supervisor ITI Rajouri, Ram Lal, Performer, ROB, Jammu and other staff members of ITI Rajouri.
A galaxy of speakers spoke on the occasion which included Teachers Students and experts. Resource persons delivered key note addresses on the implementation of Swachh Bharata Mission, Swachhta Action plan and provided elaborated information about the rights and duties of every citizen to achieve the desired goals of SBM and SAP.
Speaking on the occasion Vijay Mattoo I/C Field Outreach Bureau, highlighted the importance of Swachhta Action Plan and urged the audience to shoulder their responsibilities to spread the awareness of Swachh Bharat Mission in their respective areas and fields.
A cleanliness drive was also organized in the campus of ITI, Rajouri in which Principal, Staff, Students, volunteers and workers of Municipal Committee Rajouri participated and cleaned the premises of the institute. |
