Jammu, Jan 20: Residents of Bahu Fort area on Sunday staged protest seeking employment in the Jammu's first cable car project.
Pertinent to mention here that the foundation stone for Bahu Fort to Mahamaya stretch was laid on February 24, 2014.
The inhabitants of the area assembled at the project site and raised slogans in support of their demands. They said that the then government had committed to provide employment to people of the area. They appealed to the Governor to provide employment to the unemployed youth of Bahu Fort area failing which they will come on roads. |
