UDHAMPUR, Jan 20: The Directorate of Environment and Remote Sensing (DERS), J&K organised a symposium and painting competition on the topic "Role of Wetlands in Climate Change" at Anand Bharatiya High School, Ban Rathian, Udhampur.
It was the part of the celebrations of Wetland Day coming on February 2, 2019. About 400 students along with the faculty members participated in the programme.
Mementos and trophies were awarded to the winners along with the Certificate of Appreciations from the Directorate of Environment and Remote Sensing.
Kuldeep Kumar, DFO Environment along with staff of the Directorate organised the event. Abhishek Padha, a social worker and expert in the field evaluated the participants. |
