| NGFEA holds protest over long pending demands | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 24: Non Gazetted Forest Employees' Association today held a protest to highlight long pending demands as the Sate vides agitation launched by the non- gazetted forest association which represents the forest employees of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Scores of employees participated in the protest programmes demanding implantation of agreement executed between Pr.CCF of Forests J&k, Jammu and leaders of Non- Gazetted Forest Offices Association. The protesting employees shouted slogans demanding their rights.
While addressing the media Jammu State President Mir Nazir warned authorities to fulfill the genuine, agreed demands of forest employees without any further delay .He said the moral of Forest employees' are down due to delaying tactics in resolving the long pending issues of forest front line employees .It is very unfortunate that the department has not framed any concrete policy to encourage the forest employees working in risk of life.
Mir Nazir Ahmad hoped that the department will fulfill the burring demands without any delay otherwise NGFOA will continue the state vide agitation. And, will continue to do so. Further, the Forest Department will march towards Raj Bhawan after Republic day. The demands needs to be fulfilled at the level of Forest, Finance department are removal of pay anomaly, release of two and half day's extra salary in favor of Forest frontline employees and risk allowance. |
