| Bhawan police fines pony walas, palkiwalas, porters for violations | | | Early Times Report
Katra, Jan 24: Bhawan police today fined pony walas, palkiwala, porters and porters in different violations on Mata Vaishno Devi track. Police spokesman said that today a special team leady by DySP Bhawan Satpal Modi-SHO Bhawan-Inspector Arun Singh and Incharge Police Post Adhkwari ASI-Partap Singh raised two surprise nakas in different locations i.e. Sanjichhat and Sameer point Adhkwari on Mata Vaishno Devi track to check the pony wala, porters and palkiwallas in view of forthcoming Republic day.
"During surprise drives and naka Bhawan Police fined 48 violators in different violations like overcharging, without uniform, without I -card, possession of Tabaco materials etc. and raised Rs 18100 as fine on the spot", said police spokesman adding that the drive was launched under the supervision SP Katra-Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi-Nisha Nathyal. |
