JAMMU, Jan 24: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has flayed the BSNL authorities for its poor quality of services in Bari Brahmana Industrial complex. According to press release, a meeting of BBIA members was held under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan President BBIA in presence of Suresh Mahajan, Sr. Vice President, Ajay Langer General Secretary, Vivek Singhal Secretary and Viraaj Malhotra.
Member present in the meeting raised serious concern about the frequent disruption in the internet service due to poor maintenance of existing land line and broad band services and the non availability of the spare parts in the Exchange resulting Internet Service remained effected during the working hours on regular basis.
The members said that majority of the telephone connections and internet services are not working since last two weeks in spite of complaints registered with the telephone exchange by the member units. "Whenever we contact the concerned officials the Telephone Exchange, they always gave a lame excuse that migration of exchange is going on / due to non availability of requisite spares resulting it is not possible to repair/replace the faulty cable", they said.
"Majority of Industrial units are in the process of shifting to private telecom operators for the smooth functioning of their unit and it is the need of the hour for the higher authorities of the BSNL to take the strict action against the Officials who are bent upon to destroy the image of the Govt. owned BSNL", they said.
They requested Chief General Manager of BSNL Jammu Circle to take cognizance of the matter and took action. |
