| Excise sleuths destroys 2400 Kgs of Lahan | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 24: Excise department today destroyed 2400 kilograms of Lahan during different raids carried out against illicit liquor in Excise Range Kathua.
A team of Excise dept raided the Chakdrab Khan, Sumwan, Banyari, Ladwal and adjoining areas of Kathua district to arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor. In the process more than 2400 Kgs of Lahan raw material of illicit liquor, which is highly hazardous and injurious for health was recovered by the raiding team from state land & later destroyed on spot. |
