| Shiv Nagar without power for last 5 days, PDD in deep slumber | | |

VIJAYPUR, Jan 24: The Shiv Nagar area of Vijaypur is plunged into darkness for the last five days but the Power Development Department (PDD), it seems, is in deep slumber as it has failed to replace the faulty transformer till date.
The aggrieved residents said that despite repeated requests the department has failed to replace the burnt transformer due to which the power supply could not be restored resulting into lot of problems for the residents of the locality.
The agitated people warned that if the transformer is not replaced soon then they will force to come on road to lodge a strong protest against PDD for its inability to rectify the problem. |
