JAMMU, Jan 28: Smile-Social Youth Club of Jammu and Kashmir organised a simple programme to launch an Awareness camp for making people aware about the benefits of Organ donation under the chairmanship of Adv. M.S.Qureshi President of Smile.
The campaign was launched with a view to reach every nook and corner of this society, every school, colleges, universities, deliver stickers and pamphlets amongst the general masses for the sake of general public at large and needy patients in particular.
Adv. Qureshi while addressing on the occasion said that this campaign is meant with the holy motive to serve the ailing humanity and it is for the first time in J&K State that it is because of hard s efforts of Smile that Organ Transplantation Act 1997 has been amended as Organ Transplant Act 2018 for its implementation.
Now these pamphlets and stickers shall be distributed amongst all the masses and further workshops, campaigns shall be launched very soon. Among those who were attended the campaign included, Adv. Niaz Ahmed Choudhary, Adv. Rohit Lega,Adv. Ramneek Singh, Adv. Zameer Muslim, Adv. Irfan Qureshi and others. |
