| Writer Kunwar Shakti Singh gets Nav- Lekhan Tej Puruskar | | |

Jammu, Jan 28: Nav- Lekhan Tej Puruskar' would be given to poet/ writer Kunwar Shakti Singh for his collection of poetry titled 'Shehar Jab Sojata Hai'.
Details of the award winner were shared by the managing committee of the Mandal in its meeting held today and endorsed.
The award will be sponsored by a former Secretary-General of the Hindi Sahitya Mandal and art critic Naresh Gulati to commemorate the memory of his late father Tejbhan Gulati. The award comprising a cash prize of Rs.11000, a souvenir and a citation will be presented by the pioneer Hindi organisation. The Hindi Sahitya Mandal as part of the ongoing celebration of the 75th year of its existence in the region. Entries for the award were invited earlier in September last year and were evaluated by a panel comprising eminent litterateurs Ramesh Mehta, Prof Raj Kumar and Maharaj Krishna Santoshi. |
