Reasi, Jan 29: Salal Power Station celebrated 70th Republic day with zeal and enthusiasm at Ramlila ground Jyotipuram. A large number of NHPC employees, CISF Personnel, their family members, school children and locals participated in the programme. Himanshu Shekhar, General Manager, Salal Power Station was the Chief Guest who hoisted the Tricolor.
Speaking on the occasion Shekhar recalled Dr. B.R. Ambedkar who drafted the constitution of India. Martyrs of freedom who sacrificed their lives during freedom struggle were also recalled by Shekhar.
Cultural programs were presented by KV Students and Playway School kids were liked by one and all. The program concluded with prize distribution by the Chief Guest and distribution of sweets. |
