Jammu, Jan 29: Overlooking the role of a religious body, Muslim Specified Wakfs and Specified Properties (MSWSP), the incumbent Vice Chairman (VC) has fired another diktat, directing subordinate staff not to visit his office without prior appointment.
According to insiders from the religious entity, there are over one thousands officials of the MSWSP, who visit central office for officials purpose, not for tea-coffee, but unfortunately, now you have to seek permission from the VC, who issues orders and calls meetings with selective people.
"It has been observed that the Controllers/ Administrators and other office bearers working at sub-units visit Central Office of Muslim Wakf Board without seeking prior appointment or giving reasons for such visits. The practice has been viewed seriously. It is hereby impressed upon all Controllers/Administrators and the officials working at sub-units not to visit the Central office without prior appointment. Any dereliction in this regard will invite action under law", circular number MWB/Adm/1956-69, dated 28/01/2019 read.
Terming the circular dictatorship of the incumbent VC, the insiders said that the religious body nowadays undergoing Hitlar's rule. "Appointment of Sofi, as VC MSWSP was mistake of government, as rather serving the purpose of his appointment, as head of the religious bodies in Kashmir, he his creating hurdle in day to day works of the Board", he said and added that Governor Satya Pal Malik, who took a number of revolutionary steps for the welfare of people, and the betterment of state, should also reconsider for the future of the Board. |
