Jammu, Jan 29: Shopkeepers and locals of Digiana today staged protest demonstration, demanding completion of draining work, which has been going on for the last over nine months.
Local residents rued that despite continuous appeals to the authorities, their demand has not been addressed, adding to their miseries.
They further warned the District magistrate that if the drainage work and road work will not completed by 10th February, 2019 people and the Market will block the Digiana National highway.
The protest was led by Rajinder Magotra, Vicky, Jeet Kumar, Shubham Magotra, Vidash , Vinayak, Sugam, Kartik, Anil Kumar,etc. |
